If Nortie builds something like that he is going to need a driver so that thing doesn't get away from him.

I'll have my driver call you  ;D

Truck has a dr's appointment tomorrow morning should know by the end of the day should be fixed by Saturday....honestly this time its my fault! I know that for a fact I think it is something simple...a line under the valve cover is leaking and I'm going to have the shop use a tech 2 to determine which cylinder then I will fix it....I might half to pull everything down again

i love this new shop i am using i cant believe this guys honesty....i call him and tell him that i want a diagnostic on my truck...then i proceed to tell him the situation, and i quote "josh i dont think a diagnostic on your truck is going to determine anything i could charge you the 110 bucks and nothing will get resolved...let me put you on the phone with my duramax tech" so the duramax tech told me what to do, and how to handle it, and call if i need anything....how on earth can you ever get honest service like that? i know i jacked my thread, but the boat and truck go hand n hand

I didn't notice it before, Nordie, but obviously that thing was not bought/built for racing nor appears it ever was?

I just realized no numbers, not a million stickers and having the saddle tanks........duh! Even greater find!

funny you mention that, because in terry's there was about 3 paint jobs on the boat, but we will never know the history now, because all of the pain came off in one shot....it's in a big old ball of goop now....at some point the motor was moved in 7 inches....why it was moved that far forward no one knows....when the boat gets rerigged it will be put back into the stock location

Did Tdawg notice any stickers or residue?  It just hit me seeing those pics awhile ago.

IF that thing was ever raced, there'd be no saddle tanks, I would assume, let alone the fills for them for as many paint jobs as it's had. As far as the engine placement, someone mighta been trying to get it to handle well for everyday use. (Nothing THAT hull will probably ever do)

Given what it is, I'd bet it hasn't seen a LOT of use, and the 'glass issues on the sponsons were from it's life on the beach! You don't see many Flatbottom Hydro's ever! Let alone one that wasn't a former, beat up race boat!

Now we ALL hate you!  ;)
