The top 10 list endured some pain last year that kinda killed the fun of it. Also, a lot has changed within the ranks.

I am going to reboot this list so to speak. Wipe it clean and start over from scratch. There is a weekend planned on March 10th at McIntyre Park in Blythe, CA to get some boats together and reestablish a list to work from. No, this isn't a 'McIntyre Only' list. Anyone from any where is welcome to participate. Please respond below if you have any questions or want to participate.

By replying to this thread, you are acknowledging that you will adhere to the following rules.

Remember, this is list for FUN and lets keep it that way!

For the get together in march can we come up with a different way to start the runs .

Instead of just idling up to the start , can we start from a light or a arm drop.

And can we race 800ft instead of 600ft.

I think we can anchor a pontoon at the start. Might be tough to get them lined up with the pontoon in the current, but maybe worth a shot.

Okay that would be awesome, because typically whoever would leave first whether they were at the buoy or not would win.

And on a side note I don't know about anyone else but, I would be good with putting in a total of $40.  20 to the people helping and 20 to the pot for the winner.

I unfortunately won't be putting Becky on the list this year but I will be there doing some testing on the 10th along with helping Brad out. I'll bring a extra bottle if anyone does wanna lay down some money on a grudge race. My main focus this year will be njba races competing in 9.0 and SE class

A few of us are getting together at the ADBA races next weekend in Parker to put together a plan. Once we get it ironed out, we'll let you all know.

My goal is to keep the list fair and fun for all involved.

I saw a couple of top ten list guys at the races this weekend, did anything get ironed out on how list will be ran? Start/stop distance etc.?
We would like to come out and give it a try, all we got for you guys is a naturally aspirated v-bottom bubble deck  ;D

For those of you who are interested and were asking, it will be a drawing of numbers and a ladder built off that. We will have a start/finish buoy with a person on a pontoon at the start to designate the start. As this is a first attempt at doing something like this, it will be a learning process. Again, this is about having fun. Don't forget your safety equipment.

Looks like its going to be a beautiful weekend. Low 80's and no wind. Water levels are expected to be decent too.

So I got some waders and checked out the water levels. Today is low as expected. It's normally low on Fridays. I went out there to dig a channel but even with the water super low it's still waste deep. Also I went and walked out to the sand bar just up from the marina where the shutdown area will be.....and it was 4' deep. So as expected the water should be 2' higher tomorrow, so all those spots of concern will be 6' deep. When coming out of the marina just go straight out. The middle is the lowest spot. See ya all in the morning.

Eating crow is flying your way, running late because of the rain, make sure you save a few races for us, unless you are not up for the challenge?  Lol ;)

Absolutely. I will be filming/taking pics, as I'm sure other people will be doing as well. I will be posting all the results this evening if I get a chance. If not, by Monday for sure.

It has been a long time since I have done any racing. Had a great time today, thanks for holding this event. Great people and nice boats, see you all at the season opener in Parker.

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday. The weather threw us an unforecasted curve ball, but we got through the ladder and settled a few call-outs.

No, the 888 was not there yesterday and won't ever be a part of the list. I will not participate just so the list will never be questioned if it's being run fairly and unbiased.

I will be posting the results from yesterday later today or tomorrow.

Again, thanks to who came out. The day ran smoothly and quickly. All passes were done safely too. We're looking forward to watching this list grow and become solid over the years.

Was just curious because I love to see my Ford brothers get with it. Sad it has come to this where things are questioned.

But glad everyone had fun and safe. Looking forward to the results.👍
