1988 Eliminator Question
« on: February 18, 2017, 06:44:43 AM »
Hey guys I'm looking to buy my first Jet boat and have a couple questions! I found a clean 1988 Eliminator jet with a stock 454(I think it's stock).

What is a boat like this worth?
What is typically the top speed of a boat like this?

Thanks for the help!!!

Thanks for the info! What are you doing to your 460? How much horsepower are you looking to get to and what top end speed are you hoping to achieve?

The stock 460 had 330 hp turning an aggressor A/B impeller at 4600 rpms. I'm hoping to get that number up to 5200. I'm not sure where that will put me speed or horsepower wise. I'm thinking somewhere around 450.
I'm adding some forged flat top Pistons, a different cam, true roller chain, getting some work done on the heads and switching to roller rockers.
Are you gonna get that boat?
