marc sent me the pics of the plates when he first contacted me about this. i guess SuperJet sent these to him....

Yes, they arent perfect, but they arent useless. they could be bent back if needed...or you could even use them as is.....and the small crack doesnt render them useless at all. If you were building a show boat, I could understand, but youre buying used parts....that are maybe 30 years old.

not sure what they are pointing out in this picture.

Ok I started the hit storm so I have to deal with it. Brad pic won't load with what I was pointing at so I'll have to wait until I can get to. My lap top later. I was told parts were used but nice no cracks. I even asked him about it. I get the part and it's bent yes I could be repaired but what would you do if you were sold something and when you received it, it was different or damaged. That's all I am saying. No I am not a bad customer at all just don't like being messed with. Like i said don't want 200 back just what was agreed upon.  And yes like sandeggo says...  Should have just sacked up and bought new. I could go on but won't I am going to let this die and end here. Like I said before initially I though Marc was a good guy and was going to help out and get this resolved, didn't happen that way. Only contact ever made was instigated by me. Also how am I suppose to feel when texts an calls don't get answered or returned I eventually stopped trying. It shouldn't take two or three months to get something taken care of. End of subject.

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

judging from the pictures alone i find it VERY hard for a seller to not know that the part was bent.  its pretty obvious.

uh no its not pretty obvious.

Are you trying to say i intentionally sold marc a bent mount and then he intentionally sold said bent mount to SuperJet? never mind the source where I got it from....and where that source got it from before that.

that being said, the mount is most likely bent due to someone installing the feet improperly (not lined up) then cranking the bolts to get it snugged up. the same could be done to straighten it out.

where did i say anything about you mr defensive?  it could have been bent AFTER it passed through your hands.  maybe it wasnt bent when it left the last seller?  maybe shipping?  who knows?

to bend that plate you would have to mount it unproperly....and i know marc did not ever use those plates. he had them stored in his garage since.
so you are indirectly saying that i knowingly sold them to marc bent.

quit making assumptions, its making you look like an ass.

no its making you look like one by being overly defensive. Whats next are you going to make fun of me because I have a tahiti like in other threads? *I* have nothing to lose in this situation, just outside observing and stepping out of it now.  Good luck to the buyer who has to suffer with the consequences.

Put it between 2 pieces of plywood, run over it with your truck a few times to straighten it and stfu.  It you can't handle that, send it to me and I'll straighten it in a press and send it back.  After all the thousands of dollars I've been screwed out of in my life....this little bent mount is rather humorous.

Whats hilarious is I can see you, and myself actually doing this. Redneck engineering.

Fine by me Marc, your facts are a little skewed. I was not wanting all my money back just the amount for the part. I had no problem sending you the part back, but the deal never got that far. Sorry dude but $150 is not hard to come by. That is all that was being disputed, not the full $200 plus shipping that it initially cost. Also I do not appreciate you calling me a thief. I never stole anything and never would, YOU sold bum parts all I asked was for the deal to be made good that is not stealing. But,whatever  what's done is done have a nice night

If $150 isn't that hard to come by. Then why are you sweeting it so bad. Just suck it up!
When did you know it was bend? Before or after YOU mounted in the boat?

Ya mark saved my ass with a new nicely built Trans for my bronco. I feel like i stole it. LOL...

Brad you rock for the site. Love the people on here.

I got F'ed by pay pal once. I sent a flip down monitor to a guy who bought it on ebay. Then he disputed it and paypal gave him his money back. And i never received my monitor back. So that bastard got my 400$ monitor for free.

If you are buying used parts you have to expect them not to be perfect. And if it is just bend stick it in a vice and bend it back. No problem. might need to use some force and cheater bars but it should bend back.

Lets stop the hostility. Your out 200$. not a big deal. I am pretty sure i blew twice that on the bar tab at the last scjb meet i was at. And all i got was a mean hangover.!!!

just saw the pics. Ya its bent but i would just bolt it up. The block would straighten that right out. if you are worried about the crack. just have some one weld it if you cant do it yourself. Cant imagine it costing more than 20$ or some beer.

anyway i hope you get what you want out of this deal and come out to a meet. everyone on here pretty much rocks. Especially me. lol....
