Brad if this is not allowed please feel free to delete

If you live in California, its nothing new that you are used to having to deal with new BS laws/regulations when it comes to Firearms. But we just had 9 bills pass senate today that could be very harmful to our second amendment rights in Commiefornia.

I urge anyone that cares about their 2nd amendment to take a second and sign a petition and give the governors office a call. Heres a quick synopsis of the bills and what they are in my words. I dont have the time to read all of them, but i have read some of them.

1. AB 156 - Started life as a bill to allocate a minimum of 25 percent of money in a fund to communities in section 39711. IS NOW A bill requiring ammunition sellers to be licensed, face to face only. This includes banning internet/mail order ammunition sales. Also you will need a license to purchase ammunition

2. SB 1235 - Started life as a bill regarding government employees and a retirement system IS NOW A bill requiring ammunition sellers to be licensed, face to face only. This includes banning internet/mail order ammunition sales. Also you will need a license to purchase ammunition

3. AB 1135 - Started life as an amendment to the Food and Argicultural code NOW basically bans 90% of your semi automatic rifles

4. SB 880 - Essentially banning any rifle with a magazine that is not permanently (welded) to the receiver

5. AB 1511 - Originally an Insurance code amendment - NOW makes it illegal to loan a firearm to a friend

6 SB 1446 - Essentially will get rid of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds

7. SB 894 - Makes it a crime if you dont report a stolen or lost firearm within 5 days. (think if you were on vacation for 2 weeks????)

8. AD 857 - Originally an amendment to the Health and Safety code is NOW a bill requiring all 80%/home made firearms to be registered

9. SB 1407 - Same as above, but including antique firearms as well.

Dont just take my word for it, you can read it here
https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billSearchClient.xhtml

The governor's office phone number is 916-445-2841

theres also a petition here

I personally dont understand how a bill can be introduced as something then 100% changed later on in the process like a lot of these. I dont understand how that is even legal

Signed it. Makes me sick to see the stupidity of the people that think up these bullsh*t bills. They just don't get it.

LA county is pretty much screwed. We all have to do everything we can to preserve what little we have left.

Just one of the many reasons I quit my job and moved my family out of that SHITHOLE state in June. It only took me 42 years to grow a pair of balls and do it. No offense meant to those of you who are stuck there! I was so miserable there that I up and quit a $150k a year job and left with no certainty of our future. It was scary but it has all worked out in a very short amount of time. We started our own excavating & grading company in AZ and life could not be better. Not to mention all the new guns we have bought out here.  I'm not telling any of you to leave but don't let a job (not a career that's different) hold you back from leaving Ca.

Signed. Also if anyone wants to join the NRA I can sign you up. I will take the ten bucks I will make and donate it to the NRA instead of making cash.

I feel ya.  I'm hoping to get the hell out of Cali in a couple years.  Just counting down the days.  Lucky my company I work for is more traveling and that being said I can relocate everywhere.  Just waiting on the wife to say lets go.  And that is coming trust me.
