great site! i guess i'm a newby here,it's great to see another boat site. I usually hang out over on texashotboats.com ,but this place looks just as good! I will post some pics of my newly aquired v-drive daycruiser, when I get a chance!
Sarcasm? What sarcasm? Has anybody noticed any sarcasm floating around?
Newest member right here. Been lurking for pretty much all of 07. Decided to finally sign up. Not sure if I am aloud here being from Norcal. But I love boats, especially jets and v-drives. Unfortunately I cant say that I have a boat right now which is just sad. Summer is wasting away and I cant even get off the shore. Weak!Anyway, this site is cool, I really enjoy checking out the pics and as I filter through sarcasm the insight on boats in general is good.
Thanks for the welcome.Hopefully I can find a boat to my liking in the near future because I dont like being boatless.
They are all fukin tasty. My long time favorite, "Dirty Dicks -beerjet-
Glasscutter, Skip, OC2 Nordie and many more nail me good every time, relentlessly, I love those guys!
NO REGRET$ ... Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics / no matter how good you do you're still retarded!!!!!
Welcome to the club of broken boats Pay here$ bend over and move along.
When I saw that boat the first thing that came to mind was to put a jet in it. That boat was a steal of a deal , congratulations on your purchase and for not being a lurker anymore welcom to the site.
I had to have the motor done twice because someone didn't cleanout the oil passeges the first time(pumped metal shavings through the motor next trip out it spun the front bearing in the jet,had it fixed, next trip same thing this time at the back of the lake and water was flowing into the boat through the bearing (assembled wrong) . Fixed it myself after that, no more problems . Next trip no problems , or so I thought, got home and the boat was still dripping water so I look under it and what do I see , a BIG ASS CRACK IN THE HULL !! So I gave up on this boat/pile of sh#@!!!! And bought the 21 ft Eliminator Daytona in the project boat section with the idea of useing my 460 and a Berkeley jc pump that I have sitting in my garage. So what do you all think of this plan or should I stick with the big ugly outboard ?
I'd keep the outboard on it.
I just recently signed up and am finding this site to be pretty cool. It would be really cool if we could schedule member trips to local lakes. Then we could really represent
i may post alot but im still new!!!
