OK, got a problem with the rules:
Jet-berk jc with diverter, ride plate, loader and shoe--CHECK
21' Eliminator day cruiser, (heavy old pig) BBC, Full roller motor, no reverse, ~2800 lbs--CHECK
220 lb driver---This is the problem- Lost ~70 lbs since Feb, '12 now 217  and NOT GOIN BACK!!!

3 pounds under the weight limit, I guess I'll bring your cooler to the dam and back and have a cold beer ready for ya when ya finally get to the finish line :o

Well, if you beat the pink Ultra, you will be subject to a protest because you must have a 600ci motor.

I'll pay the $250 and have to pull the heads on your boat and blow down that motor on the water to verify all is legal and if all goes well the prize is a roadraper.

I don't wanna float a valve just to remain the champ.

The boat has been in training the last few nights. I wheeled the garage tv out into the boats circus tent and replay a bunch of videos of brad running comp jet racing.

By day, its listening to eye of the tiger all day on repeat while I'm at work.

Should be a fun and relaxing trip, but mines gonna gave to do 5200rpm all day to make up for the trips I didn't get to go on this year. Only got out 7 times.

As for the 21' championship looks like its down to me and whiteboy in the lineup. Buckskin to the launch ramp at Echo.

From a ~10 mile enduro to an 1/8th mi sprint??

Ralph has the right Idea:

The young bull said, let's run down and have a beer. The old bull said, let's float down and drink the case

14 miles of river to float

No 5150, all Big Johnson has to do is put super in and will get rid of the pinging.
And don't forget Steve will be there also with his Carrera so isn't that 5 of us going down river with roosters
Shooting?

Mine is 21'9" and I am a little over the 220lb mark right now so I think I am going to have to do a light fuel load to stay "competitive"

How about make a "Daycruiser" race? I'm only 20' but I guarantee its heavier than the Pink Ultra. HHa, we had a Daycruisee race at the Temple Bar meet back in 2010, in 3' rough ass water. Damn it was a good time...

I think this is a great idea.  The first time I liked having the worlds largest under bow storage ever was when we house boated on Mojave.  I had to go back to the landing to grab some guys that were arriving the next day and was able to take their 3 giant coolers, many cases of beer, a washoo's set, a cornhole boards set, EZ up, sleeping bags, pillows, you get the idea.  All in one trip.  My flattie owner friend wanted to nickname it "the ferry" but I settled for "the barge".

I'll be at Echo that weekend playing with my Rogers while my wife is in Seattle   >:D

I'm pretty positive I'll be to lazy to break out my 21 Cobra at dawn to run with you guys, but maybe. I'll need a waiver on the fatty class  ::) cause at 6'3" I'm only 200lbs. Love my Cobra, it cruzes so nice, will run a wild 55mph all day long.

I would like to suggest Saturday afternoon so we can make a spectacle of ourselves in front of everybody on the river. Besides that I won't be leaving until early Saturday morning for my 300 mile drive to the river. My son is playing Hart High Varsity football Friday night.

I'll be at my place at Echo. River front by the launch ramp. I'm bringing my Rogers to test run the changes I made recently. My 21' Cobra is ready for the big race  :sly:

How many boats and when are we gonna run all together?

I think the last word was 7 boats and I think it's a afternoon run up river in front of buckskin beach with cameras
JB welded along the railing to catch all the action

I'll have a Gopro with me too

Who's arranging all of the topless women to be riding with us, it is the River  >:D

Normally I would have a few, but this weekend it's just me and my Rogers

Only a few days away

Everybody still in?

My wife is bummed she can't be there, everytime she gets in our boat on a nice warm day all she wants to do is be naked  ;D ;) The first time I took her there I did explain the rules of the river, at some point everyday outdoor displays of nudity are mandatory

  • I'll be on Parker this weekend, staying at Riverland, I haven't met any of you yet but if you see the boat at the sandbar, don't hesitate to stop by.

Was on the water briefly in Parker this past weekend, the conditions were awesome, my alternator belt shredding was not.  New fuel pump and wedge installed though   Hopefully I can get out again this weekend for the jet barge nationals.

I still have hope for the trip but its looking shitty. My fiancee's sister just had some serious health surprises and lab results. I say its best to just go, but I'm not the one that matters right now and then I'm an asshole if I roll solo, or force her to go.

It's official. We will not be making the trip this weekend. I had to tell her that we had a good River season and that we should sit this one out so she can spend some needed time with her family. I didn't know what else to say, she started crying thanking me for my understanding so I think I made the right choice. She knew I had the boat waxed up and truck all polished up and all my shit in gear ready to drink beer and catch fish, and she would have been willing to go through with it, because she knew I was looking forward.

This was by far one of the best river/camping
Trips ever, awsome weather, near perfect water
Conditiond and a great group of family and friends
To hang with. Plus everything ran perfect with
No issues. Cant wait till summer is back.
