Myself and Jetaholic have decided we need at least one gathering this year so here it is .
This is not an "official" anything . This is not a SoCalJetBoats.com event . This is just a bunch of boaters getting together swapping stories and tellin lies

For absolutly no reason what so ever we decided to meet at the Blue Water since there is plenty of room to just kick back and tie off . There is also a beach , and of course the sandbar adjacent to the resort .

We have also lined up a deal with a local hotel if you need somewhere to stay and there is also a tasty breakfast joint right next door . There are plenty of gas stations , a super market , to get what you need there .

Myself and Jetaholic will be meeting at the Blue Water and launching from there as well since it's $8 or so to launch .

Hotel: Its the "Bridge Inn" Formerly motel 6 . I've stayed there and it's nice and there is plenty of parking directly across the street . There is no boat parking on the premises . It is the best deal in town I think and the rooms are nice . Rooms will have refer. microwaves and jamming AC . Myself and Jetaholic have reserved 10 rooms each . You can call them directly between 3pm and 11 pm and speak with pablo who is in charge of our group and knows exactly what is going on . Tell him you are with the So cal Group to get the discounted rate of $56.10 + tax which is right around $62-$63 a night . The rooms I have reserved are for Fri. and Sat. night but when you take a room from the list , you can change it to what ever dates you want .

There will not be a celebratory shirt made with a name we have not already picked out and they will not be for sale in all popular sizes so dont bring cash with you

Here is the roll call sheet. To add yourself to it, copy and paste it with your name added to it in a reply to this thread.

The rooms we have are on a first come first serve basis. We have reserved 10 rooms each...if we run out of rooms you will have to reserve a room yourself. It doesn't matter where your name is in the roll call list...you have to call the hotel to get one of the rooms we reserved (use the contact info that Beerjet posted in the previous post)...however if you take one of our rooms we have reserved it would be nice if you would put your name on the roll call list before you do.

As for the T-shirts there will not be, please don't provide what size you want as there will be no T-Shirts.

Six and a half months planning in advance? I'm impressed. I think my group of 4 will make it but probably stay Sat. to Mon. or Tues. I won't add my name to the list until I can firm up the details but I'm certainly gonna try to make this. It sounds like a lot of fun. Will there be no drinking along with no T-shirts?

We figured by planning it this far in advance we're pretty much guaranteed to get hotels, plus it will give everyone plenty of time to request time off of work to be able to make it.

Just make sure your installed height is good to go and you should be alright

I've rebuilt heads on machine work long enough to know about correct installed heights with correct cams
