Im 50 ft from the edge of the cove looking out into the main body of the lake. The only wave I see is from the wake barge that just went by towing a raft and 3 kids!

Go to the river then, take a big ass anchor with you. I just shove my shit out in the water and it stays there  8)  PLUS the water is like bath water. Busy weekend? We can find a cove and not see another boat all day. Hey each to his own, I used to go to parker but it's a fucn zoo now. My family used to go to Black Medows Landing when I was growing up alot but havasu is a zoo now too. Too many drunk kids and cops for me. I'm convinced you MUST be retarded to even buy a jet ski and wakebarges should be outlawed, do yo know you can be held responsible for your wake? I'd like to see people getting their asses sued off with those POSs. Those two things have ruined boating as we once knew it. Not to mention the hundred mile an hour passes by the thirty footers.

my question is, why havn't they put a cap on the size of boats on parker? i mean yea, take your 35 ft scarab out to havasu and go as fast as you want, but they can barely turn those things around in the river, and i'm not getting into the wakes they make....

i don't think anything bigger than 28 ft should be on the river...  :screwy:

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
