Planing a trip
« on: August 01, 2009, 10:33:11 PM »
I want to go to the parker strip this month over night. Is there a place to  anchor out on the river and spend the night ? Are there any rules against it ? I have a 76 Sleekcraft Executive, it has room to sleep, I wanted to try it out.

I have a membership at Emerald Cove (across from the Keys) on the Calif side.  You could anchor there, go to the store, use the restrooms/showers and stay in your boat and nobody would know if you belonged there or not.

Have fun  ;D

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
