Is anyone heading out to the River Reggatta?  I will be out there with a couple boats on Mojave from 8/12-8/15 and saturday is the big river float.

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."

They say they're expecting something like 15,000 people to float down the river. That is just madness.
Can only wonder how many people will drown this year. I hope not. But pretty un-preventable.

Lets just hope this year that nobody drowns.  I heard that they are going to be patrolling and checking to make sure that people have life jackets on, so hopefully that will help.  I will be floating down the river with a group of 10-12 people on saturday.  We will have two of the big relaxation station rafts tied up to one another and a few tubes tied off to that. If you see us out there say hi, come have a beer, or a few.
