Well boys and girls... Shes DONE! Got her all finished up today. Ill post a few more pictures of the end result. I actually had enough time today to fire up the boat on a hose. Got me all excited for summer to come!

Heres the floater bar after some polishing and new mounts welded on.

And the safety chain mounted.

And here she is.. In all her glory. Thats my little helper holdin the boat down while I take the pictures.

If she wants to ride shell get in no matter what she has to sit on!!

SD, you did an amazing job on that deal...

One over analyzing thing, the safety chain looks like it will be the first thing to hit the ground in the case of an unintentional detach, any way you can move it up or protect it? The chain also has to be rated properly, at or greater than twice the GVW rating of the trailer...Ran into that years ago. ;)

Otherwise, very impressed...

If i get some free time tonight at work, ill play with it and post it for everyone to see.

Time to man up and yank it John!  :banghead:

Hmm.. Didnt even think about that!  :screwy: Guess Ill weld on a drag plate down there to protect it. I plan on getting a thicker chrome chain for some bling. That was the one that was already on the trailer that I just rattle canned. Thanks for the heads up though! I would have never thought about that!
