What style of interior are you going with? I have the same hull and went with a more modern look with 2 buckets, a bench seat in the back with the engine hatch covering the width of the boat (posted a picture on an old Mini day cruiser post). At times I’m upset I didn’t stay try to the era, keep the wide passenger seat, with the dog house and jumper seats in the back and spend a fortune to have it done in the original stitch pattern. The quote was ridiculous either way but well worth the expense to keep such a quality built and riding boat alive another generation hopefully 2.

Post by: Reed2017 on May 04, 2018, 08:18:06 PM: Three fortunes! I'm going with pretty much the same style interior as you. All new deck hardware etc... Greg took the top and bottom off the motor as well as looked over the pump. Put a new Dooley 10qt oil pan on it. The motor is a 540 Merlin. New steering wheel, tow cover, interior, carpet, gel coat, trailer completely rebuilt, Bimini top. Even bought a 2nd boat just for the original Swimsteps and brackets! The cherry on top is a billet fire extinguisher. Jeanette at GS Marine has been a huge help! Great lady for sure!!!
