1985 Youngblood TX-19
« on: April 17, 2020, 12:50:04 PM »
Hi everybody out there, I have a 1985 Youngblood TX-19 Condor.  I have had 3-other jet boats In my life and this one by fare is my favorite. It just handles so nice. I was wanting to no if anybody out there might no a little bit of the history of the Youngblood boats. I have seen some other condor jet boats out there that look identical to my Youngblood but called something else. So since I plane on being buried in this boat I would love to no a little bit more about it’s history. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank y’all so much, have a bless day and stay safe.

You have a very clean TX-19. They are great hulls. Probably the best all around hull for jets.

Thank you so much.... it took me a couple of pick up trucks to get it home. The guy I got it from took it all apart and then never put it back together.  So it’s always fun putting something back together that some one else took apart.  Thank you so much for this info.

Joe, aren’t you from Columbus Ohio area? If so, did you get to run on buckeye lake? Where do you mostly run?

I’m just about 30-miles East of Columbus. About 10-min. From buckeye lake. It’s the only place I’ve taken this boat since I’ve had it. Just put a 632 in it over the winter and it runs pretty good.. took it out a couple weeks back. Had a weekend that was pretty nice.

I know this is old, never saw an answer to the OP question. There was a site up called "youngbloodjetboats" that had all the history. It is no longer available unfortunately. I bought a 1984 TX19, it has a JBX HIN number on it, JBX's are Jimmy Johnson built TX19's. There have been over 15 companies who have made TX19's. On the site it stated that only those that were made by Youngblood, were called Youngblood TX19. All others are what ever manufacturer TX19 such as CP TX19, Condor TX19 etc. Originals came in 3 weights, 325, 375 and 550 lb layups. It's a shame that site is down as it had great info.
