Title: Cooler Stereo experience?
Post by: socaljst1970 on February 20, 2015, 07:02:40 PM
Hey Gang - anybody ever build something like this?  We have some decent equipment but without cutting up the boat, new interior and spending a grip of $$$ on install labor we wont be jammin the tunes.  These things work??? (cause i know i can build this myself lol)

That looks pretty cool.  I'm limited on space, maybe I can build a mini version.

Sure going to cut down on cooler space  for my favorite beverage.  A lot of guys use those Ion speaker boxes with blue tooth.  Save the room for the beer sir👍

That! Those things are killer, and pretty loud too. Or just a mini Bluetooth boom box thing.

These offer a lot of sound in a smaller application.
Uses a small digital 200w amp that you can get off eBay, Bluetooth and also a small 12v battery that you can have solar pluged I to for trickle

I picked this thing up for 250 bucks with the large 4.0 lithium battery from home depot. I initally bought it because i needed another charger and this was only another 70 bucks than the regular milwaukee charger. It charges the batteries and the battery also powers the radio when its unplugged. Am/fm, bluetooth, aux port and a usb port to charge the phone. The big battery fully charged with my phone plugged in and it pretty much on full blast lasted 10 hours. And the battery only takes about and hour to fully charge from dead. Its not to big and its pretty loud and the biggest selling point, theres a bottle opener.

Pretty bad ass design, although you'd be spending more money on the Yeti than on the components you're drilling into it lol.

If you must have a cooler with sounds, look into getting the Coolest Cooler. It has Bluetooth, a usb charger to charge your phone, and a blender built into the lid.
