Is there anything going on Friday night?  Last year I got there Friday night and pretty much just ate a Burger, bought some beer and hung out watching the tube until I fell asleep... pretty boring.

I am staying just down the street from the stadium.

I have to get there early friday morning to reserve the beach space for the SCJB canpoies. I havent figured out where I am staying yet.

I am just at a motel 6 on the PCH. Stayed there the last four or five years.

I will be getting into town after work Friday, probably 9:30 or 10.

I just got a double room if you need somewhere to crash.

Thanks, I will keep it in mind.

Friday night they usually have a party downtown....have a few k boats parked on the street in front of a bar and they fire them up.

We are going to have the K-711 at Panama Joes Friday night and are going to fire it off, big pre race party there

I may take some flak here but there are few sporting events more boring to kids than boat races, drag boats being the worst.  Way too much down time in between races IMO and no I don't have ADD.  I would say there are quite a bit louder than a Supercross race too.  Anyone can walk through the pits, but there isn't much for a kid to find interesting.  If you do go, bring a bike or two, LB can require a lot of walking.  Also there is no bleacher type seating so you are sitting in the sand or standing the whole time, so come equipted like you were going to the beach for the day.  Get there early for a good spot and close parking.

Go ahead and bring your kids, they are more then welcome to come by our pits and hang out and sit in the boat and stuff

He will bringing the K-BOOAT! Haha Good luck buddy.

Its a drivers party Friday night at Panama Joe's Bar on 2nd Street 6:30 to 9 pm

My boats not ready... My wife knows I don't do beach very well so she's dragging me to the delta for the weekend.  See you guys at the Parker race.
