The Sprint Nationals are coming up on August 8th and 9th at the Marine Stadium in Long Beach.
SoCalJetBoats will have a vendor booth there to promote the site and events as well as selling shirts, hats, stickers, dvd's, etc.

I'll be there with a few friends, wives and kids. We've been getting an RV spot for the last few years and we'll be in the same spot this year. It's always a great time! :thumbup:

IDK how early you have to get there, but I have waited in line at 8am to get to park at the stadium.
I often park just outside the gate and walk in. Not as convenient, but that's what I do Sunday so I can get on the road towards home (6 hour drive for me).

Last year we were parked down by turn 1. There was some good action down there last year. We'll probably be about the same spot this year.

dang....i saw a video where the boat somehow stuffed its bow underwater and tagged the bottom under power. did some damage to the bow. crazy to see...

its kind of a toss up.
Sunday is the finals (like the 20 lapper GN race)....but sunday has a thin boat count because a lot of people break on saturday.

You are probably close enough to spit on them as they go by doing about 130mph. One of the best venues to watch the races.

We'll be there on Saturday. Not sure if we will drive or just ride the bikes down. Considering Friday night for the show and shine if i don't have work.

comp jets will have a 8 boat field, sat. will be Comp.jet nationals, and the GN nationals, the rest will be sunday, everyone still races both days for points and trophy,

i saw what looked like a cruiser competing in comp jet....som bitch was movin'

Oh man the races are over, what an awesome weekend. Thanks again Brad for all the hard work you do, coming all the way out and setting up a shady place for us to watch the races! Have a good trip back to LV. Cool to meet some more SCJB'ers, watched today's races on surfrat tv but it was not the same as being there in person on Sat!

lol, right. little chine walk....but nothing some steel juevos couldnt handle.
i grew up racing v8s with my vw bug....so i can appreciate him going up against smaller, usually quicker, boats. get some!

Had a good weekend at the races and meeting more of scjb family. Do have to give props to Brad being dedicated to this he sets up and stays late drives far to get back home to his full time job! Awesome job BRAD thanks!

Christian (slideartist) ran the GN 3 as hard as he could. Ended up pitching a rod on lap four but she was a lot closer than she had been.
Thanks to Christian and Sasquatch Racing for letting me be involved. Had a blast.

For sure props to Brad for setting up a great booth and the ez-ups; and nice meeting a couple guys.
Races were solid and that cruiser in the jet class looked way to nimble to be that big. He had a wild setup, see pic below.
Also a few other random pics of some beautiful boats onsite.
