The need for a tee tank? Roundy round...

Didn't want to jack Jim Brock's thread on the Rogers, sooooo

What is the advantage of the Tee tank Vs either a stack tank or even a fuel cell?

I am used to 20+ gallon gunwale tanks, so I am very in the dark here..

I can't figure it out, the only advantage I can figure out on my own is the lack of aerating the fuel, but that's too simple....

Been thinking about this for over a year, thought I would be able to figure it out, but NOT!!!

we only need 8 to 10 gals of fuel, its better to have it in the center of the boat, later i am goint to run stack injectors,and the fuel level has to be higher than the injector pump so it will self prime, jim

I've got saddle tanks in our ski/race boat. My seat is on the left, so we only run fuel in the right tank to balance things out a bit.

The kids boat will be center steer. So the T-tank will keep the weight centered.
And besides they just look cool.

Thank you Jim, in all honesty, I wasn't expecting the answer to make much sense, but there you go..

Wouldn't it be better handling wise, to have a lower center of gravity? I think if I had to drive it, put the heavy stuff down low and in the middle, things like the motor, battery, fuel, my ass, among others, I may be over thinking this though.... $:-\$

On the fuel injected race car my nephew was involved in (late model modified) they pressurize the fuel cel before the thing starts, then the vent opens up, it was injected...they would run 20 lap mains...
