Congrats Jeramie Robinson CJ 44 1st place
-
Congratulations.
Tough weekend for compjet racers. I saw 3 wreck/sunk Saturday and 1 Sunday morning (I didn't get to see any racing after the sunday morning wreck).
Hope everyone is feeling good and racing again soon.
-
Saturday Heat one :Tom Bandy went over - sunk
Restart of Saturday Heat one: Shril Dicky went over - sunk
3rd restart of Saturday Heat one: Toby Clark flipped pretty bad - lots of damage (missing steering wheel, bent headers, broken/missing injection velocity stacks
Tom Bandy and Jack of MPD were able to get the cj123 back running for sunday.
1st heat of Sunday - Mark Yunker flipped - destroyed the hull - boat went to the bottom
2nd heat of Sunday - Harold Bruce spun out and got pitched, but boat stayed afloat.
Amazingly no one got hurt in any of these accidents.
-
Wow it figures I left to soon pretty crazy that damn near every boat that participated either spun flipped or sunk. Should make for an interesting season
-
WOW, good to hear no one was seriously injured
-
I was quite surprised to walk out on to my balcony at the blue water with a raging hangover and 15 seconds later see the first flare shot. Glad to hear everyone is ok.
-
Was marks boat recovered!
-
What was left of it. Violent crash for sure. Glad mark was ok. The boat didn't fair so well.

Glad to hear everybody is ok!
Just out of curiosity, what kind of boat are Tom Bandy and Jack using?

I heard it was a liberty......
-
Yea Jack's boat is his Liberty from back in the late 70's Still a beautiful boat. Someone tell me what was the water like Northern Atlantic on a nasty winter day? It sounds more like the NJBA 1875.
-
It is Jack's Liberty back from his racing days. Tom Bandy and Jack are close, Tom has been running a modified CP in the drags for years with Jacks help on the pump. I guess all the old stories about his circle racing days finally made Tom want to get in the seat and give it a try.
-
:screwy: how come Wizard is the only one who remembers races from 1875?
-
I age well...

Nice pics Brad, thanks for sharing. The Ballin' Jack boat is pretty neat.
-
Everyone please send Mark a roll of duct tape I think that will do it.
-
Trying to be more serious, Mark are you going to try to fix it or are you going to look for a new hull?
-
I think it is safe to say he is in the market for a new hull.
-
Mark should be ready for next race. HB and crew are getting motor all fresh and a replacement hull should be a shop soon.
