Alright boys and gurls heres the boat were going to try and get put back together for the Parker race.
Its a 19' Bahner, the motor is a 488 chebbie, just shy of 14:1, Berk pump with lots of goodies and a freshly smoothed bottom and shot with speed coat. Joey a d'cucci is almost done with bucket seat, colloum and the gas tanks. Ill post more pics as soon i get more done. Matt

Nice! Look forward to seeing you out there!
-
where's the cup holders??
-
Looking good Matt.
We may have a decent boat count this year.
Although my stuff is not as far along as yours, got no motor yet.
-
Yes Filter it is the hurricane intake. We used the pro products heads also.
-
Cup holders are for pussys that cant drink their beer fast enough.
-
Very nice - looking forward to seeing it in person and boy do I have bong for you.
-
Ummmmm..... what kind of bong.
-
im not sure if thats the seat setup youre using, but if it is, you might want to look into changing it.
i suggest mounting the seat through the floor or to the stringer. sub floors become rotted and screws pull through easily. it happened to louis and banged him up pretty good.
other then that, everything looks great. looking forward to seeing you out there. i've gathered up most of the parts i need for my boat, just no time to work on it. I might just pay someone to do my bulkhead here locally.
-
That was just an old seat i had put in there to figure out how long to make the steering colloum. Joey is making us a fiberglass hugger seat from an old Rudy Ramos mold. I will post pics of it when we get it. Matt

sweet...looking forward to seeing it. not sure what style seat mold that is, but if joey is behind it, im sure he'll do it justice....but you know vicente will do the grunt work ;D. Vicente is a craftsman when it comes to work. i saw some of his work when he laid up the K8 boat....the man does good work.
anyways, lookin forward to see the boat in person in parker.

Sweet im down Bull. Can somebody tell me how the camping down there works? I see people have their campers and motorhomes down there, but do they charge you to stay there or do you have to rent a room? How much do they charge or is it free for racers. Someone please enlighten me. Matt

We took it to the water last night but the 1150 wasnt quite enough. The plugs looked like a crack heads lips. Glad we didnt run to long, could have burnt a piston. Everything looks good so off to some bigger jets or possibly a bigger carb. Matt
-
here are a couple pics.. sorry no action shots.. my camera dont zoom far

If you're running lean, may be too big of carb. :-\
I always start rich then lean it out, I worry less know there is too much fuel.
