Considering its airing out less boat in the water equals greater speeds in the straight.

The Liberty "Ballin Jack" CJ 123 had his rooster a bit higher than all the other jets during all of the heats I saw, he was also in the lead most of the time as well.

MPD's rooster tail was as high as you could go in my opinion........
In my experience, if you don't wanna get hosed down, get out in front.......

Speed in the straights is good, but you need to be able to hold your lane in the turns.

...and thats what cav plates are for. Airing it out has nothing to do with holding your lane.
Airing it out is good for speed in smooth water while rough water can be your worst enemy.

Who did hold their lanes this weekend. It's not like LB has alot of room in the turns, especially when you're turning with throttle...

Hence why it's bandys rookie year I'm sure he will figure it all out. His drag racing back round gives him experience behind the wheel but this is a new ball game for him

If by "set up" you mean slow way down..... then yes.
Any boat will turn on a single pin without spinning...its just how fast that matters.

There wasn't one boat there that can take a turn wide open. It's not a video game where you can play wide open till you hit something. Some drivers in the class act that way. You may call it slow down, I call it in control. When you spin ever race, there is something wrong.

I never said anything about wide open in the corners. I was just taking a stab a Liberty boats, thats all. IMO if your not a little out of control then your probably in the rear of the pack. HB is the is the best driver in CJ (IMO) hes patient, drives hard and has more races under his belt than all the CJ racers combined and he still gets out of control at times. The water is way to unpredictable and at 90 plus shit is coming at you fast. As far a spinning goes that is just the nature of the beast. I dont think that there is a single CJ racer that hasent spun at least once or twice and half the time spins are caused by another driver. Unfortunely the spins and crashes are what people want to see. I never wish anyone to crash or get hurt but spectators want to see carnage and thats just the way it goes.

The new boat should be at Parker. The bottom is done and just needs a little speed coat. I dont think ill have plates on it but im going to try. Were pushing big for the Enduro this year. But at Parker we will have 4-5 boats if everything goes well. If the Enduro boat stays together i would like to run nostalgia jet in. The line up will include.....

Its a lot of boats to keep running for the weekend so i might not drive. Its just to hard to drive and work on the boats, dont get me wrong i have a lot of help but for the most part i oversee whats going on the boats we bring.
