Were trying to figure out if anybody is going to step up and run NJ at Long Beach. We will bring the Bahner and the Challenger if there is going to be at least 4 boats. If not im putting the motor from the Bahner in the flat to run the 95mph class. I know this has been brought up several times but nobody seems ready, well we have about 9 weeks till Long Beach so get your boats ready. I need to know soon so i can talk to Terry to get the class set up.

Depending on what sizes you wear I have two XL jackets and a couple helmets.
I can also borrow a large jacket. You are welcome to use my gear at Long Beach if needed.

its not just NJ...they havent run any nostalgia classes at LB.

Well I appreciate the offers! I just got a large ski jacket from Costco so I'd probably be close to that in a lifeline. It's too bad my red glitter motorcycle helmet won't work

I doubt that they would schedule NJ at Long Beach. It was put on the sanction at Parker and we only had two boats show up and had to combine the Endurance Boats to make a race. I would concentrate on the Nov Parker race to try and put together enough boats to race. Also Long Beach is a tough course to run and it's not a good place to start for new drivers which many of the NJ would have. Matt i will see what i can do but we would need a confirmed boat count.

I'm curious Terry, why is the LB course tougher? More bite in the salt water?

Most folks stay out of the rocks. But there is always that one guy who has to be different. :screwy:

what all do you need for safety things? I have full fire suit, vest, sa2005 approved helmet. Could be fun to race if a few boats are going and they open up the class. What are the entry fees? 8)
