Hi Guys,
It looks like the APBA rules require a DOT/FAA physical and eye exam for drivers.
Does that apply to NJ/NF too?
Thx,
Bill
-
Yes because you need an APBA license to race in any class

Hey guys ya dont have to bend over and cough too ?? do you ;D

What class of medical do they require? 1st, 2nd or 3rd? I think even with that eye problem you could still get a third, it would take some paperwork and some kind of demonstrated ability thing, might be a little hassle but you only have to go thru that once. Those medicals aren't that difficult, they dont put you on a treadmill or anything, when I get mine, which I have to do every six months, it's pee in the cup (checking for diabetes), check blood pressure, hearing, color vision, near and distant vision, weight, height, ask about any doctor visits and why, and that's about it, usually I'm out in about 15 minutes, if your 35 they'll do an EKG, then and EKG every 12 months starting at age 40. Never had the finger in the wazoo.
