-
No plans it just a toy, that boat is the only piece of "single, pre baby life" I have left. I'm not complaining by the way, couldn't be happier.
-
Guys, you don't even know. These pictures don't do this boat justice. It's clean, sanitary, meticulously prepared and badass.
It's good to see you post this up Josh. Looks killer.......john

Now that we know what a builder would do with his boat... I almost want to ask a million questions about yours Josh ;D

Rob Josh's boat is very unique and has a lot of cool features ,not the least of which is a hand made 'left foot pedal controlled diverter overide" He doesnt often go on line on the weekends but I'm sure he'll welcome any questions DAD

I agree !! This is one realy nicely built boat, when you see it in person it looks wayyy better than the pics !!! But than all the work I've seen them doing there (JBP) has been verry well done and thought out .
Sorry Tom / Josh but I'm not going to come to your shop anymore until my little boat is done. Because every time I do I come home and take something ealce apart on mine after seeing a better way to do it, when I should be spending money on parts for the Daytona :(
-
Jeff I'm sure Josh will appreciate that ! He works hard at what he does Hes a great kid !! Dad

To set the scene here for this , Josh's boat came to us in '01 when he was still in HS ,we got it (the Beezer) as part of a deal from Aggressor and my 16'Allusion tunnel (bare hull) came shipped on top of it cause the tunnel had no trailer, long story short Aggressor had used the Beezer for a test boat for thier "junior jet" (small pump for small HP 4.3l v6) The pics here are from then The first pic is the two little boats together in 02 others are at Our families place at Nac circa 2001 from its maiden voyage ,Prior to the 408 SBF (which later came from his Mustang) at first the beezer had a "economy" 350 SBC with a "duntov grind" 30/30 cam and dry upsidedown car headers. Because he cant leave anything alone , it quickly got upgraded with some Dart pro 1 Aluminum heads ,Comp "sprint car" cam and a pair of Holleys on a tunnel ram The movie clip I burned this weekend from an old vhs2 tape (excuse the quality) I took the movie while riding "shotty" at SM lake in 01 near our shop (speed limit 35) We were playing "ranger tag" ,(because the lake is small ,when the rangers would leave us we would make a hard pass or two before they'd come back) heres the old pics i dug up,(excuse the vid quality) Turn the sound up and hear the motor "buzz" Enjoy! Tom

Don't listen to what people say about marriage and babys. Keep your hobbies and include your family in them. If that's too much to ask for, you chose wrong when you get/got married.
The boat looks awesome! 8)

Dads note: Jerry its not to grim for the youngin' he also has a "family boat "

Thanks for the kind words, on another note (ie your other thread) I wouldnt add 200 extra pounds of big block to this boat or yours for the world. Loosing my 150 Pound pasenger made the difference in 3 MPH on my top end.

I guess I'm going in the right direction then. When I bought the boat (July 07) I was a BIG boy, 315lbs. I've lost 55lbs. Hoping, by the time summer rolls around, I'll have lost the majority of next 70lbs. That being said, 3mph IS 3mph. I'll take it anyway I can. Then the 408 stroker on top of that would be plenty.

So what was the top speed then?

That was with the old engine build. Then it was 77.something at 5000 with a Billet B impeller(like an A-). When I added the vacuum pump and mufflers it turned 5400 but I didn't get a speed run. I don't thing the mufflers had anything to do with it but two sets off muffler sure didnt hurt this thing. I don't think the vacuum pump made all that power it just freed it up. The old motor had crank case psi problems that i've taken steps to correct in the new build, plus about 50 to 75 extra horses. Funny thing is that engine never turned passed 5000 when it was in my Mustang either , must have been the psi.
I've gotta get it buttoned back us soon its got a new stainless B cut Turbine impeller that i'm gonna run back to back with a B cut Hi-helix, so it ought to be interesting.

Seriously, good job!

I will add that I belive the loosing the pasenger thing had mostly to do with where the weight was located. Because the boat is so tiny (narrow) the biggest problem is airing it out, and removing the extra weight from the cock pit area just freed it up nice.
