Title: 1978 Hallett Jet Boat

Post by: Reed2017 on November 20, 2017, 06:16:47 PM: It's a very cool boat with a great history. It has a Merlin 2 block and heads. It also has a cavitation plate with a foot pedal and handle. I've only seen that on v-drives. Me and my son are going to restore it and have it on the water next summer.

The original swim step was a one piece deal which those are next to impossible to find. I'm always looking for them so I can buy them. I have the same boat with different hardware and mine is a 1977.

It's just jealousy lol ... I would not consider myself a "Ford guy" as my trucks and cars are all GM but in a boat ... All BBF
