Title: 1978 Southwind Cruiser
Post by: Brad @ SCJB on June 14, 2011, 11:45:17 AM: So I finally won this thing over back in sept and now own it outright legally......and finally got her runnin again this past weekend. I couldnt post any pics of it last summer because the divorce, but now its all final, its time to show her off.

i actually made a soft spot where the bow is hitting.

its a 1978 Southwind Cruiser. Std bore 454 4bolt main with claysmith cam and 990 heads...and LOTS of up nozzle.

Post by: Brad @ SCJB on June 14, 2011, 10:35:14 PM: ive added 2.5 degrees more (18.5 total - plus modified diverter) and machined some of the inside out that was being restricted when its all the way up. Josh told me its not so much of a stream anymore....its got height, but its more of a 'spray'. i need to pick 'tards brain this weekend and see what i can do to fix that. maybe a nozzle inset of some sort.
