I Just bought my first boat. A 1980 Miller 19', it has a 454 with nitrous and a Berkeley Jet. I haven't been able to find a lot of information on these, does anyone know about Millers?
Thanks
-
Nice float. I have a 78 20ft mini day cruiser. Nice boats. The son is still making some boats. Most millers have matching trailers with fiberglass fenders painted to match

Thanks. I noticed all of the other Miller's had the matching trailer, unfortunately mine did not.

I have one... extremely happy with it. Mine is all stock with a bbf but it still runs pretty good. I'd like to see that thing go, where do you plan on taking it?
-
So far I have heard nothing but good things. Yes, I live in Northern California and I will be running it in the Delta. Thank you everyone for the feedback.

Wow you were not kidding, your buddy's boat looks almost identical. I don't know if it's a sore subject, just curious what happened to his?

Long story short. Guy bought it less motor. Raced it through some chop and put a hole in the side of it.

Sounds good, thanks for the info. It turns out that the "FRESH 454" was not that fresh. Just blew the water lines and there is a horrible exhaust leak. Hoping that's all there is, back to the mechanic.

I bought a 75 Miller at the beginning of summer. Only took it out once. But the thing takes off like a bat outa hell even with a carb that's too small. I'm hoping to get it all back together in the next month or 2
