1981 Eliminator Daytona 19' jet
« on: September 29, 2012, 08:27:53 PM »
Ok so after a little break from jet boats, I have officially returned and am doing so in style.

Here are the details that I know about:
New paint applied in 2009 by a painter named "Parker"
The pump is in good shape and powder coated candy red
The trailer was boxed in around the same time as the paint on the boat. The trailer is a red fully boxed in competitive trailer with white and purple pin stripe and LED lights.
The boat has a full rail kit from the back to the front with a throttle mounted on the rails.
The bottom has a "bubble" or "spoon" in front of the pump on the center keel.
Here are some pictures. Enjoy

So, are you going to shoot for the recommended maximum HP range?  ;D

Great looking float.

You only got a couple weeks to get it ready for its first event.  >:D

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

Well as of now that plans are just to clean up the inside with some soap and water  8). I might pull the motor out of the flatty for now so i can get her wet. The front buckets might need to change because they are a little snug for my big ass. If someone buys my boat with complete then i will build another motor in the 461-496 range, maybe a tad higher  ;D. If everything goes right im going to try and make Avi, but if not then hopefully around Halloween time.

I sold the Spectra last summer to one of Ralphs friends, Matt. He has been to a few of the events.

A little quick update.  I sold my seats and tank out of the daytona and picked up some stainless Russell gunwale tanks and put some new seats on order. Today I drove out to canyon lake and picked up a very nice ready to run 468. Im going to slide the motor rails back and move my seat rails. I need a very few things to complete the boat for now. I am going to be looking for a big pan for this motor. Hopefully soon I can finish the interior, but I need to sell a few more thinhs like my gauges, wink wink.

Well a couple updates.

My seats are on their way from canada. I cleaned out the inside to get ready for a new rail kit. I picked up a rear bench today.

those seats are sick! Did you have fastforward lay those up? Believe his name is rob. If so, I have one of his scoops on my Sanger. And if the seats are anything like my scoop you will be thrilled with them.
