Title: 1983 targa jet boat project
Post by: johnnyfresh on July 09, 2011, 08:17:04 PM: just bought this boat a couple months ago its a 1983 targa boat with a berkely pump and ford 460 motor. I put new carpet, upholstery, gauges, and wheel in it so far heres progress before and after.

Post by: johnnyfresh on July 11, 2011, 04:29:38 PM: put it in the water today found out my new steering was put in backwards that was fun left is right and right is left ;D fixed a couple little things goin to try it out again tomorrow. its for sale on craigslist if anyone is interested ;D

lol i didnt know that was possible.

you're selling the steering or the whole boat?

Easy fix.....I bet the cable was on the wrong side of the tiller arm or the rack is bolted to wrong of the helm :banghead:
