Title: 1989 Legend
Post by: herrhauptman on August 09, 2015, 06:12:32 PM
This is my 1989 Legend race boat. I have this as a hobby and don't race it. It goes into the triple digits, and all the work with the exception of building the hull was done by me. All of it, engine, paint, wiring, instrumentation, fuel system. Have a look.

Hull is locally built, engine is an all aluminum 540 with Kinsler fuel injection. 800 hp, so far only 9 hours on it last year. Unfortunately I am unable to use it this year due to the slowdown in oil patch causing economic hardships.

Beautiful boat !!! That looks like a street in Devon, Ab, lol. I was raised in Alberta, hang my hat in Sask now. I feel you on the oilfield slow down, I got hit too. Now my boat is at a stand still...
