 Is that the one with the Mazda rotary in it ?  I've heard storys about it being FAST  ;D

Yeah its a rotary, but I didn't think it was Mazda's, there is a company that builds these motors for marine use, but haven't figured it out yet.

My buddy has pretty much the same boat. Small Eliminator Daytona.... 12 foot??? His has a 40 hp Nissan Outboard. We tested it out today at 7k rpm and 35 MPH. It needs a different prop and should run more in the 5800 rpm range. We'll be at big river this weekend. The little boat pulls hard out of the water and just needs to be re-propped.

looking at that little sucker gives me the chills that someone had the nuts to bolt in a rotary in front of a jet  :screwy:

I have no idea. My buddy just bought it 3 weeks ago in Long Beach. I know there was a similar one for sale out in the Lake Smell-some-more area.
