Well I've been on this site for a little while and decided to post an intro finally. Name is Stephen married with a son whos 9. Boat is a 1976 Tahiti bbc 454 tunnel ram w/ twin 660 holleys, 12jca (waiting for a place diverter ;D) and so on.... Here in the boring part of the central valley--- Coalinga ;). Looking for family type people to hit the water with.....

And just picked this boat up off craigslist. first boat with a berk pump. Was into boat in my teens and 20's then family came along and you know the rest. Last boat was a Ranger w/460 and a panther pump....

Welcome to the fun zone ;D
Most of us have kids and enjoy just hanging out at the river/lake. Some of us are kids and enjoy hanging out at the river/lake ;D
You choose. :D

Saw your boat on CL--looked like a good deal. Have you had it out on the water yet? Although most of the socal guys are south of you, I'm up north in Fresno/Clovis. Welcome.

You mean those are MY kids I been hangin with? Here I thought they were just part of my crew!
Welcome to the site! Haven't been on even ONE excursion where I would feel uncomfortable with my kids being there........well, wait, there WAS this one incident with topless girls dancing on the deck of another boat at Saguaro, but that didn't involve anyone on THIS site.
The Moo boat is actually from your neck of the woods! Yours looks REAL nice!
Good luck and either this season or next, bring it all, including the family, to one of the get togethers! We're mostly harmless.

good looking boat, welcome to the fun ;D
-
We'll be out on Kaweah in the morning, if any ones gonna be out there stop us and say hi!!
-
We were able to GPS the boat yesterday and it hit 66mph before it started bogging. Not to bad considering the carbs keep flooding ( reason for the bogging) at WOT (rebuilding this week) and no place diverter... its coming this winter or whenever I find a good deal. State worker on furloughs gotta save every penny :'(

I did, in another thread at some point, lol. That was back in April I think?
Was at Saguaro, beached and there was this 23 foot or so boat justa floatin around the 'hangout' beach, two girls jumped on the deck, started jammin, bumpin, grindin to the tunes blaring outta the thing about dusk, tops came off, my daughter was disgusted, my Son may never be the same, but oh what a sight! I promptly went to take a pic, and immediately dropped my phone in the lake. Phone #2, lmao.

Becca, on the way back to the marina later asked me, "why did you want to take a picture of that dad?" Lol!
I promptly, and QUICKLY, pulled one completely outta my ass, and said "Because i want you to remember what a tramp is and to never ever act like one!"
Truth be told, wanted it for my wallpaper on the laptop, a poster in the bedroom, screensaver on the blackberry, and see if Brad can have a sticker made from it! But couldn't tell my children that! lol
