I'm in too, and way down for the South Shore. Harris Creek A-Loop campground is right by a boat ramp, has it's own showers and restrooms, 2 huge fire rings/pits, oh yeah and we can reserve the whole damn shootin' match! Let's set a date, Labor Day weekend again? Father's Day Weekend? July 4th?
Let's do this.

Here's a map Ralph, the Old is where we were, the New is where we'll be, you remember when we headed to the dam? Once we passed the marina the water got smooth? That's where this campground is, and there's plenty of beach to set up for the day.

I thought I would never say this but what an AWESOME day on Elsi today ;D. Rented the ski channel with a couple buddies and we had the whole thing to ourselves. Finally got some halfway decent pics of the boat in the water ;D. Hopefully my buddy will send me some pics and video of the ski runs. I took a really bad fall late in the day so I am out of commision as far as the skiing goes for a bit :banghead:. My fall is on video so I will post it up once I get it. Enjoy the pics.

Thanks Keith.....Didnt break anything thank god. Took about 15 minutes to start breathing normal again and I am thinking Knocking on Heavens Door will be the best. After I quit seeing stars and got the wind back in my lungs I realised I was still alive ::)

The last time my father in law skied he pulled a hamstring that jacked him up for a long time. As far as I know he has not been back on a ski :'(

Years ago we used to rent a tournament lake near Dagget. It was called Wet Set Villiage. Tournament boats only, and for $350 you would be the ONLY boat on this little perfect private lake, the whole day. Had a slalom course and a regulation jump. I used to ski until I could not stand up. I do not know if they still rent it, but here is a link...

I took Friday off to go dirting at Ocotillo Wells this weekend and work would have been kinda pissed, but damn I probably would not have been able to say no. Friends tell me that Sat. and Sun. the lake was an absolute zoo.

Hey Bob...Thats a cool lookin' ride and sorry to hear you took one of those falls..been there done that :banghead: Also PJet...I skee'd/barefooted Wet Set years ago, a buddy of mine used to work for an A/C Company of a guy that had/may still have a place out there...I remember his first name was Frank/but cant remember his last name which was the name of the company,but that place was definatly a blast! Bob, I would love to do that Elsinore thing too,but DAMMIT...I own a jet boat and they arent allowed in there! :mad: :banghead:

They do allow v-drives in the front half for wakeboarding but still needs to be a tounament style boat. No v-drives in the back because of the slalom course. They claim the v-drives put out too much wake and fuk up the course :screwy: I really like this boat but I miss my jet also. Why cant I have both dammit :mad:
