Title: Can anyone help identify this boat?
Post by: shadow3621 on April 03, 2016, 06:30:26 PM
My brother just bought this boat as a project, and we have no idea what make/model it is. There are no serial numbers, that we can find, on it. Any ideas?

Looks similar to my hull it's hard to tell without pictures of the rear or anything, mines a 1970 Sleek-Craft 19'
Mind you I've never seen another one of my hulls EVER, I saw one for sale outta state a few years ago and it was a closed bow also.
You can tell it's an earlier hull I believe cause it's rounded in the rear, typically style for 1974 and earlier
Could be that it's such an early hull like mine before the HIN's were stamped on the rear, also it looks like that
"open bow" was home made or something not sure

Wow looks cool. I have no idea but I'm guessing someone opened it up cuz I've never seen that before. Maybe a Rogers or Sanger. My 87 Advantage looks real similar but it's a normal walk through so that's why I think someone opened it up. You don't see this on smaller boats
