Nice work Steve!  I don't even know you and you've already made me proud.  Too bad those V/C's aren't engraved like you thought... another Ebay faux pas.  Sorry if I pressed your buttons last week, was just trying to fit in with the rest of the crowd...   ;)

Nice job though, seriously...  I have faith now. 8)

I think you need to paint the scoop to match.  Tan with dark brown edges.  Couple colors in between for stripes.

 ::) Thanks guys  ::)

Looks like you have enough cable to go around the back of the carb.

Ok now when i got home from work this morning i checked and it will fit ;D  But that leads to a problem, No place to hook it up on the throttle....

But i have a parts carb , and it has the part i need.. Just need to clean it up really good.

Now that i have been looking, i think im going to change my carb set up..

What i mean is eliminate the regulator and just run a fuel log, and eliminate the riser or whatever you call it..

I was looking at Jegs for a scoop mount, and would need to eliminate this stuff anyways.
http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/55015/10002/-1

It would make it sit alot stronger with the scoop mount.....

So i think i will let this stuff go..

Looks good.

How hard would it be to move the buss bar to the other cylinder head to make sure there is no interference from the coil?

You might not have any problems, but if you haven't started wiring why chance it?

Hope to see it at Mead next month  ;D

To do that i would need to make another mount or use the stock ugly one and center it ???

I will take another look at it tomorrow, maybe move it into the center

You amaze me Steve. You get more done in a couple hours than most of us, finger pointing directly at ME, in a day. And I thought I was kicking some A getting my thing done! :banghead:

Looks Great! Wish I Could run my plug wires that way, but to run them clear around the engine, then back under the headers just so they look that cool would require 6 to 8 foot plug wires! Maybe I'll try the same thing from the front to begin with......Shorter wires anyway. ;D

Are you can hard wire it, looks a lot cleaner no need for the box, and why do you even need it.

???

I didn't use anything other than standard wire from NAPA, I shrink wrapped everything and used dielectric grease at all points of contact, never heard of marine grade wire
