Title: Cold Weather
Post by: shawnthedrifter on October 14, 2008, 11:21:43 PM: All this cool weather here in Southern California has made me realize that I wont be getting a good river sunburn for a while. This was from a month ago.

Well im usualy at havasu but i recently went to the avi when the big group all went out and that place was pretty sweet.. But ya im down to check out some new places next summer.. ya i wanna check out big river for sure..

Post by: shawnthedrifter on October 16, 2008, 12:35:50 PM: BBC with a big cam, big compression and a BIG gas bill. The past 2 havasu trips I ran out of gas on the lake. Theres too much water to run out there for my boat. I think im gonna let it sit for the 5 month break and make a Parker trip in April or early May.

Post by: OC2Vegas on October 16, 2008, 08:33:12 PM: Winters coming boys and girls....already getting ready for the snow....started hiking Mt Charleston 6000ft up and higher trails anywhere from 2 to 6 mile trips. Went on one last Saturday and it started SNOWING on us pretty good at 8000ft.
