77 Marlin with all original gel coat and interior! No joke guys it's been in a shop for 20 plus years. Rocking a 327 chevy with dual 650s with a tunnel ram intake and ready to throw some rooster tails!
Finally apart of the boating family with (flytime) aka Bob!

Good job cousin Ian. BTW it's "throw" not through.....😉😉. Lots of good people and TONS of advise on here. All you gotta do is ask. There are no dumb questions.

Great Marlin!
Your guess is as good as mine I never knew that this was a specific model. I was trying to research this boat company but I keep hitting dead ends.

Nice looking boat, now every time you look at it throw $100 in it!

I know this is an OLD thread, but I Hunted you down. Was looking at Jets for sale in the Spokane area and saw your ad. Saw that it was a Marlin, which is what I have too. Was going to contact you on C/L to pick your brain for info to see if yours is a Don Whatmore out of Renton, WA. Marlin, (H.I.N. starts off with MBD on his) then I noticed the SoCal Jetboats sticker and started my search here. Your hull, jet to top of transom distance, seating style, and dash all look like mine. Not much info on Don, other than many years ago him and Skagen were partners, and he was a champion on the water in his K-boats in the 70's. Yours looks extremely nice. I'm living/working in L.A. at the moment, but due to some family medical issues, I am heading back to Spokane in 2 weeks. I would love to see it in person if you still have it in a few weeks, IF you don't mind? Mine is a huge project, and plan on restoring it to the way Don built it in '77.
Thanks, Ken

Don racing in his K-Motion hull, which is similar to yours and mine.
