Pretty stoked on my first boat. Literally have been waiting years for this. Got a hell of a deal thanks to my buddy. 1970 Rogers Cyclone. The guy started out at 2 grand and i eventually talked him down to $1100. Solid hull and gel coat. Came with a Ford 460 that doestn run and hasnt ran in 10 years. but i think all in all i came up FAT! Just cant wait to get her running and drop some carpet and cables. Ill be pulling it with a 4x2 Xterra which im pretty sure will get the job done until it comes time to pull out of the water. will just have to wait and see.

Nice Float
I pulled my first ('74 19' Glenco, 454, Jacuzzi WJ) with a '91 Firebird, 3.1 V6.... from Big Bear to the river(BHC), down the back grade.

used to pull my boat with a 67 Nova straight 6 with Hurst 4 speed shifter, oh man the pull out at Big Bear lake was a bitch, I think you'll be okay.

I pulled an 18 ft Horizon up Chiriaco grade to the river dozens of times with a single leg 4 cylinder Toyota. I could still stay at 55+ all the way up with a good run at the bottom. It ain't the tuggin' you need to worry about near as much as the stopping in a panic. Vehicles light is n the back can really surprise you at the worst times. Be careful out there.
