HONDO GT DECK

I've been collecting photos of Hondo's with the GT deck for years. I've heard conflicting reports on how many were produced and have decided to start posting pictures here in hopes of getting feedback and maybe more pictures of other boats I've missed.

first and second pics are the same boat that was overhauled by Jet Boat Performance many years ago.

The first nine are the only jets I've been able to find. All the rest I believe are v-drives. One is unknown because I can't tell from the one pic I've been able to locate.

This one belongs to racing legend Eddie Hill.

This is the one I can't tell if it's a jet or V-drive.

A guy we hang out with at big river has a hondo tdeck, at least that's what I always figured it was, never noticed if it had that bubble in the deck or not.. I'll see if I can find out or find some pics of it! Iv rode in it but never paid attention!! Cool boat for a jet right before it granaded after racing me!! Lol

That shallow jet came out of the water alil to hard a few times with the 13-1 BBC and hucked the head gaskets and broke the crank in half!! Lol, was a bad day for him, but a really fun jet boat... 👍👍👍

This is Richie Morgan's Hondo. He drove all the way down from Washington to the Avi event last year. Really cool guy, hung out all weekend.

Definitely a good looking T deck, but I’m looking for the raised deck GT style Hondo did for a couple years only (‘76-‘77 I believe).

The black #777 is that a jet boat? Looks like you can see a forward & reverse lever?

Good catch. Upon further review of other pics, it does have a manual Place Diverter handle also. Going to have to move this one into the jet section.
