i give most "runners" a value of 3k if they have interior and they're not falling apart.  3k is a great deal to get you out on the lake and having fun.

Honestly bud the boat is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for...I'd personally stay away from selling to a friend especially if it's a good friend. If she brakes down after a first trip he'll think you screwed him...I'd sell it on clist. Should be easy to sell especially now. Everybody is looking for a running boat. Just my .02. Good luck either way.

Technically yes but one probably was a splash of the other.

I think somewhere in the mid 70's they changed names, other than that I think it's the same model.

If it is a 327 block then it's most likely a .030 over 333. You'd have to measure the bore n stroke to know for sure. But if your just selling it and it runs good then who cares what it is. Just don't advertise it as a 396.

I guess if it were a large journal 327 with a 3.75" stroker in it and .080 over that would get it closer. Be about a 392.

But damn those would be some thin cylinder walls and that motor would be worth more than the boat! Lol

That's what I'm afraid of ... Some paper thin ass walls ... How can I tell if it's the journal 327?
