Very nice, I love the stance of your truck. My grandfather just finished his 53 and I know he has a lot of parts for 48-53 so, let me know if you are looking for anything in particular and I can ask him for you. He's in Norco.

Mine is also a 53. The only sheetmetal parts I need are a tail gate, rear bumper and brackets. The chassis is complete. It has a mustangs 2 up front with a power rack and disc brakes and the rear is a triangular 4 link with a 10 bolt 3rd gen Camaro disc brake rear end. It has a 5.7 with a 700r4 now but I want to do a ls motor. Needs to be wired, plumbed and just a bunch of odds and ends. Probably going back to my brothers shop to get finished when he is done with his car.

Nice, his is almost the same setup. Pretty much the same in the rear, but I think he has a 70s Camaro front end with disc brakes, a 383 stroker, dual edelbrocks and 700 trans too. So far yours sounds more my style, wouldn't mind seeing it when its done!

The old man next door to me has a late 70s Cheyenne 4x4 with a big block in it. It looks like its been sitting for 20 years, I cant get him to let it go!!!!

This was my old 4x and old Silverado. 4x was a 84 half ton short bed with 3/4 front and rears, all wheel disc brakes , th400 trans 355ci sbc with approx 400hp. Looooots and lots of hrs into that truck and it was still ugly as shit. Lol. She was a runner though. Sold her to buy my duramax and sold the white truck, used the money to build my boat.
