Found another thread that the previous owner started, just figured I'd start my own post instead.

I've never owned a boat before this, so it's all new territory, but so far so good  8)

1986 Hardin marine carribean 20'

 454 , Berkeley 12JG & a place diverter.

I have quite a few things to fix, but for the most part it's a great start and has put some great smiles on my families faces so far !

We are in Paso Robles Calif , 20 minutes away from Nacimento lake, about 35 from San Antonio lake.

I'm not afraid to drive, so I'll be meeting some of you at Elsinore next season !

Finally getting some good rains !!!

We need it to continue so our local lakes fill back up (Naci and San Antonio)





Put a tarp over it the other night, but still got water in the boat. Caught about about a 30 minute break in rain earlier today, so I hooked it up and parked on a hill... Hopefully there's no damage from how much water was in there. I'd guess there was 10 gallons of water that ran out of the back...

Almost done with the intake swap. Haven't set the timing yet, but it runs again.

Picked up a new air cleaner today since I didn't care for the looks of that scoop. Also got some new valve covers. It's slowly coming along the way I envision...

Took my wife out to lake Nacimiento yesterday. Had a great time with the boat and relaxing out there. We were the only ones on the lake without a fishing boat. Haha

The day started out a little cool, but it ended up sunny and warm. A GREAT day for certain !!!

The new setup runs very strong, and pulls MUCH harder than before. I'm stoked !
