Title: My first boat!!!...Eliminator bubble deck
Post by: JONNYBOY18 on March 12, 2017, 12:56:26 PM
So I bought a boat last summer, mid season. Now that i know a little bit about it i thought I'd start a thread and show what I'm doing to it a hopefully get some useful input from anyone who has any.

Name: The Jonald McDonald

What I know:
Weak to mild BBC
Weiland tunnel ram
750 holley
Berkeley pump with American Turbine nozzle (I think)
Hydraulic Jetovator

The Plan:
Braided water and fuel lines with AN style fittings
MSD Ignition/Distributor/Coil/Wires
New carb (original is rusty and crusty)
Re-wire the rats nest under the dash
Gauges

Any input would be appreciated as I'm a rookie and don't know much.
Thanks!

Very nice man! I used WD40 Rust Release on my Holly and it did wonders! Spray the hell out of it and let it soak over night. Also you can replace the throttle linkage & choke parts for much less than a whole carb if those are to far gone. When and where are you taking her out this season?
