VERY nice boat !!
enjoy it!!
Take care of her... as I did for the last ten years .
My wife and I built and loved that boat in the Vancouver area for the past ten years . Its a great boat . kinda chokes me up to see it in someone else's garage .
ask me anything you want to know about the boat .
the guy that flipped (resold ) the boat inside a year pisses me off . don't know why he messed with the motor or pump . boat was goin just shy of 90 mph when I sold it. enjoy (Attachment Link)
Guess I should check my posts more often, so you are the one who rebuilt her? Paint is awesome although the motor had a blown head gasket and pump was worn out. Looked like whipping cream in the valve train when I removed the valve covers. Skagen Marine just finished the pump which was worn about through the wear ring, impeller chipped and pitted, thrust bearing worn out. I had been attempting to contact the seller who never provided my the paperwork like promised. I rebuilt the original engine converting it to a street motor and got 3k out of her. Then started over with a different block and went forged everything including pistons which are 9.5. Full roller solid lift cam roller rockers. With 9.5 compression and pump gas friendly, she made 553 lb ft @ 4k. and 472 @ 5400 rpm on the dyno. (Britco Racing Engines)
Longview upholstery did the seats and Hassler custom paint fixed the dock rash. No bump strip is pretty, but scary when docking.
I have it sorted out now just rebuilt the whole thing, the more I checked the more I found wrong. The trailer plug wasn't even wired correctly. The kid said it needed a converter, wrong, just needed to be wired at the plug correctly, lol.
My woman of 36 years doesn't like fast boats and only rode once last summer. I'm taking my time assembling her but likely will advertise it for sale, as I ordered a New Nitro Bass Boat. PM Sent.
