Title: My new boat!!
Post by: mpj1617 on September 21, 2010, 01:37:58 AM
**1978 Tahiti** Ford 460-Berkley pump.  I picked it up for 3k.  I have been looking for one for the last year, but could not find any thing real clean around my area.  Already had it at three time since I picked it up four days ago!!  Love it!!!

Wow! A few months ago it was the clean looking Sleeks that were taking over. Now it's the clean Tahiti's.........

Must be related to Nordies new Dragster Engine........... :banghead:

Good looking sled there! Look forward to seeing it!

Thanks for all the compliments.  I had it out all weekend.. What a blast.  I ditched the edelbrock carb and put a brand new Holley 750 HP on it.  Wow what a difference.  Put some new pics up of it actually in the water.  Having a blast!!!!

Where did you pick the boat up from.  I remember seeing one just like this in North County San Diego for a little while.

I picked the boat up on Rancho Cordova, near Sacramento.  The boat was in storage for the last four years.

Thanks!!  There will be lots of changes over the winter.... Next year is gonna be fun.  Do you ever get around the area of the Stockton water ways?  Several of us are gonna meet up on the 5th and go to windmill cove for taco tuesday.

Since I dont have a boat right now, well, I am not heading to any place of water fun.  :-\
No, I have never been down towards stockton for boating.  Normally head North East to Camp Far West and sometimes Folsom Lake if I went to tempt my fate of getting a ticket.

Cool deal, maybe we can get some folks together next year and get some boats out on the delta... I am good friends with the folks out at windmill cove, we can make that a meet spot.
