People come from miles around to hear the funny man talk ! (https://www.socaljetboats.com/cpg/albums/userpics/10034/lol2.gif)

I think it's more like things he's gonna do versus a poll .  ;)

brian , you dont need a poll at the top unless you need our help on a decision .  ;)

If my projects looked like that, I'd consider them done. I just picked up my Cole project boat today and it doesn't look anything like yours. You seem to be down to the fine tuning. Nice looking ride.

Umm, its winter, you dont need a bimini top.  And you dont need a splash guard , thats what bilge pumps are for.   So, go run it and see what it realy needs.

I have some before pics. The only things I've done so far is pulled the motor, rail kit, pump, seats and one gas tank. One good days work and I could have it ready for gel.

about the poll comments above...

I see this from time to time and its a layout flaw of the site....

when you go to a section of this forum and want to post a new thread, on the right side it reads:

Mark Read  |  Notify  |  New Topic  |  Post new poll

i would like it to read like this:

Post New Topic  |  Post new poll | Mark Read  |  Notify

i see new guys hit the "Post new poll" link and then get confused and just put whatever they feel like in the poll questions just to satisfy the required fields before posting.

the sad part is that i could have fixed it quicker then it took me to type this post.

The 19' Rogers has been my favorite hull since I was a kid. I got it a year ago with the intention of a full restoration and I've been collecting parts over the last year. Alot of period correct 70's stuff. Hope to have it done this year.

I did not realize the inconvenience my postings were causing. I am not too computer savvy but didn't think it mattered much. What are the exact steps to complete the posting, if you don't mind taking the time to explain?

I fell in love with the Roger's 19 the first day I laid eyes on it. I bought it two days later! I'd never seen one until I saw mine.

Awesome lines...

Good luck on your resto! Keep us posted.

That's a good looking Rogers.

Brad, I have a question for you. When I click on the picture of his Rogers in this thread, I only get about half of the enlarged picture. This happens on almost all threads on your site. It this something just happening to me on my computer? It's very heart breaking and ruins my day to see a postage stamp size picture of a killer boat, click on it only to see just the bow and the guys house in the back ground.

How do I fix that?

its because its falling off the right side of your screen.....if you look below the picture, or the series of pictures, there is a scroll bar.

i am fully aware of this issue and i have means to fix it, but it requires a version upgrade of the forum software (which is a pain in the ass). There is a cool plugin that sizes all oversized images to a set size so that it doesnt do that, but it only works on the latest version.

Heres a quick fix....click on the text under the image, not the image. It should open it in your default image viewing program.

Boost, sorry for the thread jacking here while i sort out some issues with the site  ;)

Thats my old boat. Glad to see someone took the time to rig it. Had many great times in that boat. As far as 60 mph. I would say go for the energizer kit.

The Jacuzzi YJ is going to be a limiting factor, the energizer kit will be the best thing you could do.

I did the steering rack, floor, carpet, gauges, fuel fillers, and built the wood for the seats then had them upolstered. Looks to have a different steering wheel. I looked every where for the Challenger throttle pedal! Other than that, a wet sand and having the pump and transom painted would be it.
The energizer kit and a diverter were top on my wish list. Then my 468 decided to drop a valve through a piston. After that I just didn't have the drive to rerig the boat and let it go.
Looks good.

When I got the boat it had no steering rack or cable,or motor,it now has a 454 GEN 4 425HP it runs real strong im hopeing for 60 + mph.
