Title: new engine project

just got the engine back from the rebuild shop and put it in last weekend coming along nicely except i broke off one of the motor mount bolts that holds the alternator bracket too so shitty :banghead: any one no of the best way to get out a broken bolt has anyone used that grab it thing on tv any suggestions let me know thanks heres some pics of it so far

got my headers ceramic coated titanium color and got a new scoop had to ditch the velocity stack hahahaha bored out .30 over new cam and everything cant wait for it too be done ;D is it summer yet

Removing the broken bolt can be simple or a real pain in the a$$.
First off, you need to get as much room as possible so you can get at the broken bolt straight (remove upholstery or engine if needed).
Soak with PB Blaster penetrant
You can buy a set of reverse rotation drill bits to drill into the broken piece (if not frozen, some will come out with just the drill bit) or drill with a standard drill bit and use an Easy-Out removal tool.
Just don't get in a hurry and do more damage.
And if the threads are damaged you can get a Heli-Coil kit to install a new thread insert.
