Redo on my long deck

Almost have the cav plates done, waiting on a stuffing box so I can bolt the plates in. After re working the down pedal and putting in a new cav rod I have 1 1/2” on the down now. Also got all of the red pin striping done, trying to make a turd look kinda good, April meet is looking good for this thing

It's not rare, most or all circle vdrives are setup that way, helps them turn left, like my vdrive the engines backwards and it always wants to pull right, I'm always sawing left on the wheel to make it go straight...

Thanks, it’s no show boat but it’s fun.

Not as rare as it seems, it rolls in the prop through the corners when you turn left, some drag boats in the 60’s even ran off the front of the crank

Took this yellow thing out for the first time yesterday, huge difference, boat handles way better, still needs a little more fine tuning but definitely went the right direction with the plates, taking it to the avi this weekend for the wife’s b-day
