"one Miller/Mopar" coming soon to a body of water near you  ;) Hey Nate where do ya suppose this motor came from ?  ;D

Im guessing that was Josh's old motor out of his old Cole. I still miss seeing that boat.
Hey do you have enough water up there to make a few runs anymore?

The new "Loogie", as we been calling this 20' Sleek I bought, has FINALLY been id'd!

It's a '76 Sleekcraft Streaker!

As posted on the "other" site. (Hope this is OK)

Does this mean I have to drive it Nekkie?  ::)

Ray

Also dunno what an optional "Broug-Ham" interior means on a jet boat. New one on me!

LMAO!

But it does raise a question that I already know the answer to, BUT. Does anyone have any experience or have one of these things?
I'm betting not many around since 5 sites took 3 weeks to ID it for me.

Still, having a Streaker we call the "Loogie" and a Rebel painted like a Farm Animal is a lil disconcerting,  ::)

It makes me kinda lean Nordie's way and leave it alone and simply color sand it and replace the cables, try to make it as close to showroom as I can, compared to what I really wanna do (Which involves a Blower and a host of other really "Fuel Efficient" parts).

Whats the concensus?

That boat appears to be in great shape, clean it up, only replace what you have to, enjoy it! It's got classic lines and colors, don't mess with it.

I'm sorry, but a green boat with Streaker as the model name has to be named "Organic Balls Out!" lmao

That looks like a clean little boat.. 8)

Other names that I'm sure are available........"The Sick Pickle"........"Frog Dick".........."Mossy Ass"

As I get my garage organized so I can get 2 boats in it, I sat down and noticed something.

While I thought the Moo (A 78 Sleek Rebel), and the Loogie (A 76 Sleek Streaker), shared the same lines, I was always looking at the bow end of things. This pic should illustrate the differences I see now!!!!! No Wonder I nearly sank it!

LMAO Yes it was!  And I do seem to have that common theme! :banghead: :banghead:

But my point was how much shallower the transom and gunnels of the boat are and the V. Didn't realize that when I had it out there, lol.

I guess everyones better at guaging this than I, lol. I just thought it weird that from the front and top, the boats appear to be "siblings" in every way, but in that one shot, which is the very vantage point sitting my ass on a 5 gallon paint can I noticed it. (Normally they have covers on them out there, pulled them off so the Ex-Wife who's in town could be shown the boats by my son, else still wouldn't have noticed this). Explains the rougher ride a bit!
