Well I'm new to to site, so let the hazzing begin, :P
First off, my name is Rebel,
and thanks to many of you, whom don't even know it, have helped me finish a few loose ends to get this boat back into the water. Vintage Jet Boats are not as common in Canada as they are for you guys. So this site has helped me out alot!
now... for the pics!

I would like nothing more than get away from this cold weather and join you guys. Love to make the trip, and may just do that once I get my other toy finished... 76 ford f150 4x4 big block, but the boat comes first lol. ;)
-
What do you mean COLD weather? It was 98 degrees out today!

Thanks about the boat, she's a 70's Sleekcraft Rebel... and the seats, well, they were one thing that came with her. Probably purchased from a dealer up here?... not to sure though. hard to find item?

Can't really tell from the pictures, but does she have full stringers?
-
She's purdy. Have fun and roost safe.

I would have to lift the floor to see if they up too or past the seats...
but 2x6 up untill the floor, more than likely, not full stringers :(
but she feels good and solid over 1-2 foot waves. Done some trial runs on a local lake, too many cabin cruzers, lol.

as soon as I get my new pump and diverter from Tom, I think I'll be doing just that ;D
But I still want to change paint, too plain, so I'll be looking though galleries to get ideas!

So I'm almost finished makin room for Boat in shop, got the new Pump just sitting in Kitchen next to my Bike, lol ;D. Little work on shop roof today (before rains comes) and start installing pump, but, still waiting for those little parts Tom, should be any day! Then its go time... maybe a chance to test it all before it starts the rainy season. This work getting in the way of fun is Murder, grrrr.... >:(
Not sure them parts are Top Secret Beerjet, but should be a nice improvement over old Pump ;D

Hey Rob, welcome to the board. Killer looking boat.
We've got a surprising strong contingent of jetboaters here in the Northwest. We'll have to get you to hope the ferry and come to the mainland so you can meet up with us on one of the runs. There's a huge one already planned for Labor Day weekend at Potholes in Eastern Washington (first weekend in September). You should try to shoot for that at the very least. There were 57 jet boats there this year. Sounds like some of the Northern California gang along with some Oregon folks are coming up for next year as well so we should blow up that count of 57 pretty easy.
Keep in touch.....John....Silverdale, Washington

I so look forward to next year John...
Have had a few ups and downs in my life lately... father passed away recently was the hardest.
But getting back into the swing of things so... a few updates as to what's been done to my little jetboat over the winter ;)
First a little toy that Tom at JBP was kind enough to put together and ship to me ;D

(https://www.socaljetboats.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi216.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fcc103%2Fgixxer-squid%2Fpumpremoval.jpg&hash=aab514cebef7b7b96fddb1d842ade5c84a4699fa)(https://www.socaljetboats.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi216.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fcc103%2Fgixxer-squid%2Fleft-removepump.jpg&hash=9b9af62225b766d71612b82cf47edea2c9ff425f)
